Rule changes: April 1st 2008
There seems to be some discussion about the start date of the two pending rule changes for FITA field. We can set the record straight: the new bylaws will be effective April 1st 2008. From that date the inner six will be applicable and the shooting time reduced to three minutes.
 
The inner six
We have been testing the waters last season for a change in the rules which we called 'the inner six'. The current problem especially in the compound division is that scores are extremely tight together. The proposal we discussed with archers and stakeholders is to count the 'X' as six points.
