2nd elimination cancelled
FITA announced at the Team Captains' meeting that the second elimination round has been cancelled. Ranking for the individual finals tomorrow, will be based on the score after today's first elimination round only. The courses around St Fagan's are soaked and not easy to get around. The rain is affecting progress quite a bit: the archers take about 25 minutes per target… Furthermore: floods are making access to the University grounds impossible at the moment.

Elimination round WC 2008

Early weather warning

Elimination rounds will be shot at St Fagans National History Museum of Wales. This is a flat area. Which is an advantage, especially since the British Met Office has issued an early warning of severe weather for Friday. The link might be changed so here's the text: "(with 60% or better confidence) heavy rain will affect southern parts of the United Kingdom on Friday. Highest rainfall totals are likely to be across South West England, South Wales and parts of Central Southern England, with accumulations in excess of 50 mm in places."
