Today was a slow day here.. we have been using the day to update the mugshot album, dry our shoes, and read the web. We used the logfiles of fieldarcher to find places that linked to our site and checked them out. It was interesting to read about a gentleman in Italy that states he is better suited to assess the safety in the course than the people on the ground, here, in Wales. It is heartwarming to read about the people that show sympathy for our two unfortunate Australian archers here. I also noticed how the archers present here, being bored to death in their student housing, took advantage of their internet uplink and their laptops to promote our wonderful sport, field archery, in the various archery forums around the world. Most of them in their local language. We not only learned a new Welsh word today (amgueddfa), but also found out that "Tehát igaz" means bad news for a Hungarian.  Sources of interest we browsed today were: a-xchange / a-forum / a-talk / hungarian / norsk / french / tradtalk / italian / more italian

Tomorrow half a course will be shot, on three newly designed courses in Glyncornel. As safe as possible, given the terrain and condition of the grounds. Our hats off to the course builders, since they had to haul the buttresses for these courses from their original places, some of them way back in the forest and redesigned three totally new courses. At first we assumed a 12 target course with 12 starting groups and 12 waiting groups would have been shot tomorrow, but the judges came up with a rather elegant solution. It is a bit more troublesome with transport arrangements, but there will be two different sessions: a morning session and an afternoon session.
