Program: Individual finals Photos Impression of the day: We have completed the World Championships today with the individual finals for the Juniors and Seniors in St Fagans today. We were in a different part of the park as yesterday, and walking the course was quite all right today. Well, with the proper gear anyway. I have seen high heels with mud coming in from above today. We also saw a bus having problems with reaching the park. One of the roads to it flooded, and the bus made it but scooped about two and a half centimeters (an inch) of water in the luggage compartment. But it got open which was a bonus :)
If you want to check out what the course looked like we made a photo impression of the eight targets used in the individual final. And it was far from a FITA in the woods, this final. We saw a nasty bunny on a slippy slope, and target eight was 60 meter all right, but also at a down angle.
And the weather? Well, we had some showers in the morning, and one of the locals predicted machinegun showers, but it was nothing to worry about, after yesterday. We even had a medal ceremony with a bit of sun out there, in Saint Fagans.
The medal winners showed an interesting outcome, consecutive world champions but also a couple of new contestants on the podium at the end of the afternoon. Check the results to draw your own conclusions, we have to run to make it to the banquet and close the tournament with a formal get-together.
